Fluid intake habits of Spanish children and adolescents

Iris Iglesia is doctor in the area of health sciences by the University of Zaragoza (International awarded PhD), Master in genetic, nutritional and environmental conditioners and growth and development by the University of Granada and graduated in Human nutrition and dietetics by the University of Zaragoza, Spain. Her professional development occurs in the framework of nutritional epidemiology, beginning research activity in 2006 in Growth, Exercise, Nutrition and Development(GENUD) research group of the faculty of health sciences of the University of Zaragoza, leaded by the Cathedratic of University, doctor Luis Alberto Moreno Aznar. Since 2017 she is postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Aragón (IISA) in Zaragoza, Spain. She has worked in a number of European (HELENA, IDEFICS…) research projects, national projects and also some collaborations in projects with companies. Her areas of expertise are: B-vitamins in adolescents both intake and status, hydration in children and adolescents and programming and perinatal factors in association with later body composition. She has published more than 30 papers in JCR indexed journals. Finally, she is a registered dietitian at the professional college of nutritionists-dietitians of Aragón (CPDNA), member of the Spanish Nutrition Society (SEÑ) and the Spanish Foundation of dietist-nutritionists.
