Expert Bio

Isabelle Guelinckx (PhD, MSc, RD) is a scientist who joined the Hydration & Health Department of Danone Nutricia Research four years ago to focus her research interest on the nutritional assessment of fluid intake and the health benefits of water. Isabelle acquired the theoretical knowledge on how to conduct scientific research with a first master and PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the Catholic university of Leuven, Belgium and a second master at the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands. During the clinical research of her doctoral thesis, she assessed the impact of lifestyle advice on gestational weight gain of obese pregnant women. To acquire further practical knowledge, she completed a professional bachelor in Dietetics and Nutrition at the Catholic College Leuven, Belgium. With this academic background, Isabelle is convinced about the importance of nutritional assessment. This she will enthusiastically illustrate you with scientific data focussing on fluid intake.
